Fixing call problems
This article helps you fix calls that do not connect. Most call problems come from the connection, permissions, notifications or the other person's settings. Work through these steps in order:
- Check your connection. Calls need a working connection on both ends. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or move closer to your router. A weak connection is the usual cause of audio that breaks up or video that freezes.
- Check app permissions. Sebairo needs permission to use your microphone (and your camera for video calls) in your phone's system settings. During the call, also check the mute and camera buttons.
- Check notifications. If notifications are off for Sebairo, incoming calls do not appear. If calls arrive silently, check the "Ring for incoming calls" toggle and your call tone in Settings.
- Check the other person's settings. Their "who can call you" setting may not allow your call, for example if it allows only people they have messaged. Blocking also prevents calls between you.
An unanswered call rings for a short time and then appears as missed. Every call is listed in the Calls tab, and you can call back from there.
If none of this helps, email support@sebairo.com and describe what happens when you try to call.
