Notification settings

You can mute a single chat or control notifications for the whole app from Settings, including sounds, vibration, your message tone and your call ringtone.

Mute one chat

Mute a conversation from your chats list or from the menu inside the chat. Messages in a muted chat still arrive, but they do not notify you. Unmute it the same way at any time.

App-wide switches

Show notifications: the master switch. Turning it off stops all Sebairo notifications on this device, including while the app is closed.
Sound and vibration: control sounds and vibration while the app is open.
Ring for incoming calls: set call ringing separately from everything else, so you can silence messages and still hear calls, or the reverse.

Tones and ringtones

Choose a call ringtone and a message tone from the tone gallery in Settings, or pick an audio file from your phone. Calls and messages each have their own tone.

Notification settings apply to the device you set them on. If you sign in on another device, set them there too.

What you can do with a message

Chats & calls · Press and hold a message in a chat to see its actions. On any message you can reply, react, copy, forward, star, pin and save it to your notes. On other people's messages you can also report. On your own messages you can edit and delete.

Voice and video calls

Chats & calls · Call someone from your conversation with them: tap the phone icon for a voice call or the camera icon for a video call. Calls run over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Sebairo charges nothing per minute; you only use your normal data.

Fixing call problems

Chats & calls · This article helps you fix calls that do not connect. Most call problems come from the connection, permissions, notifications or the other person's settings. Work through these steps in order:

Change the language or theme

Account & profile · Sebairo follows your phone's language automatically. To use a different language, choose one in Settings. The choice is saved to your account and applies on any device you sign in on. The light or dark theme is a separate setting, saved per device.
