What can I do with a message?

Press and hold a message to see its actions. On any message you can reply, react, copy, forward, star, pin, save to notes, and report (other people's messages); on your own messages you can also edit and delete.

• Reply — quote a message and attach your answer to it.
• React — put an emoji on the message.
• Copy — copy the text.
• Forward — send a copy into one or more other conversations.
• Star — mark a message for yourself; stars are personal and private.
• Pin — keep one message pinned at the top of the conversation; pinning a new one replaces it.
• Save to notes — keep a copy of the message in your notes, with a link back to the original.
• Report — available on other people's messages.
• Edit — your own messages; the message is marked as edited afterwards.
• Delete for everyone — your own messages; a "message deleted" marker is left in place, there is no time limit, and there is no delete-for-me-only.
