Check the seller

Look at the storefront, how long the listing has been up and its reviews. A price far below the usual rate is a common warning sign.

Agree everything before you pay

Agree the price, what is included, and how, where and when the handover happens. Do it in the Sebairo chat so you can read it later.

Choose how you pay

Your protection depends on your payment method. Paying in person on collection suits most private sales. A method with buyer protection gives you a way to dispute the payment. Cash, a transfer to a stranger and gift-card codes give you none.

Keep it on Sebairo

If a seller asks you to move to another app before anything is agreed, stay in Sebairo until you have decided. Conversations here can be reported and reviewed by moderation.

If it goes wrong

Message the seller, then use your payment method's dispute process to try to recover your money. Report the listing or the seller so moderation can act, and report fraud to the police.

Sebairo does not hold money for sales, release payments or ask you for a fee. Anyone who says otherwise is a scammer.
