Buying safely from someone you do not know
Pay through the app's card checkout, keep the conversation in Sebairo's chat, and report a problem from the order if a purchase goes wrong. Those three habits are most of what buying safely takes.
Judge the seller before you pay
Only people who actually bought a product can review it, so ratings are worth reading. Read the written reviews, not just the average, and look at how the seller answers the bad ones. A storefront with no rating is not a bad one — it is a new one, so treat it as unknown.
Agree the details in chat
Sebairo carries no delivery address or tracking, so agree in chat what exactly is included, how and when it will reach you, and what happens if it does not. Keep the conversation in Sebairo — it is your record if you later report a problem.
Warning signs
- A seller who asks you to pay outside the app — by bank transfer, wallet transfer or any route other than the card checkout. Only checkout payments can be refunded through a problem report.
- Anyone asking for your password, a one-time code or a card number in a chat, email or call. Sebairo never asks for these.
- Pressure to decide immediately or to move the conversation to another app.
If something goes wrong
Report the problem on the order — the seller responds first, and you can escalate to Sebairo immediately if they decline, or 48 hours after reporting otherwise. You can also report a listing or a storefront: a problem report gets your money back; a content report tells Sebairo a seller should not be trading.
For high-value items, prefer meeting in person in a public place and checking the item before you pay.
