1. How changes work

Material changes are announced first

A change that affects your rights, your money or what you are agreeing to is announced in the app or by another reasonable means before it takes effect, with an effective date. Continuing to use Sebairo after that date means accepting it.

Everything else is still logged

A clarification, a correction, a broken link, a section renumbered — none of that needs an announcement, but all of it appears below. The threshold for the log is “something changed”, not “something important changed”.

Corrections are changes too

If a document claimed something the platform does not do, correcting it is logged as a correction and says what was wrong. Fixing an overstatement quietly would defeat the purpose of publishing the document.

The date on a document is authoritative

Each document carries the date it last changed. Where two copies of a document exist anywhere, the one with the later date is the current version.

2. The log

10 August 2026 — the legal centre published

Eight new documents published: Acceptable Use Policy, Commerce Terms, AI Terms, Sub-processors, Law Enforcement Guidelines, Copyright and Counter-Notice, Transparency Report, and this changes page. A legal centre index was added listing every document with a plain-English summary of what it governs.

10 August 2026 — Terms of Service expanded

Rewritten at greater depth without changing the commercial substance. The minimum age of 13, the content licence, the liability cap of the greater of twelve months' payments and £100, and England and Wales as governing law are all unchanged. New sections: what Sebairo is not (bank, seller, employer, adviser, end-to-end encrypted); the SBX Wallet in detail including the manual withdrawal process; workspaces and responsibility for other people's data; the AI agent acting on your behalf; a stated known gap on public-storage files surviving account deletion.

10 August 2026 — Privacy Policy expanded

New sections: what Sebairo deliberately does not collect (address book, card numbers, readable AI keys, location by default); who can see what, and that it is enforced in the database rather than the screen; encryption stated plainly, including that Sebairo is not end-to-end encrypted; the AI and your data, including that Sebairo does not train models on your content; where data is hosted; and a stated known gap in deletion of public-storage files. Retention and sub-processor sections expanded, with the full sub-processor list moved to its own page.

10 August 2026 — Cookie Policy expanded

Named every cookie individually rather than describing categories, stated why no cookie banner is shown, added what third parties set on their own pages, and added a section explaining that the mobile app uses no cookies at all.

8 August 2026 — first publication

Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy published for the first time.

3. Earlier and duplicate copies

Sebairo's legal documents live at one canonical address each, under this legal centre. Links from inside the app and from sebairo.com point here.

If you ever find the same document served at two addresses with different text — from a cached page, an old link, or a copy that was not updated — the version with the later date is the current one, and the copy here is authoritative. Report the stale copy to support@sebairo.com and it gets removed or redirected.

4. How to be told when something changes

• Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
• Every document shows the date it last changed, under its title.
• This page lists what moved, so you can tell whether a change affects you without re-reading the whole document.

There is no mailing list for legal updates today. If that changes, it will be announced here — and noted in this log, like everything else.
