Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies everywhere on Sebairo: chats, groups, the feed, live video, Marketplace listings, job posts, business pages, client portals and ads. Breaking it breaks the Terms of Service.
1. How to read this
No list of prohibited behaviour is ever complete, and a policy that pretends otherwise just invites people to argue about the gaps. The rule underneath all of it is simple: do not use Sebairo to harm people, to deceive them, or to break the law. The sections below are the specific cases that come up, not the outer limit of what can be acted on.
Private conversations are not policed proactively. Sebairo is not end-to-end encrypted, so the service technically can read stored messages, but nobody reads private conversations as a matter of routine — action follows a report, a legal requirement, or a fault you asked to have fixed.
2. Do not target people
- Harassment: repeated unwanted contact, pile-ons, or contacting someone who has blocked you through another account.
- Threats of violence, and encouraging others to commit violence, against anyone.
- Hate: attacking people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
- Doxxing: publishing someone's home address, phone number, financial details, identity documents or workplace without their consent.
- Impersonating a person, business or institution — in a profile, a business page, a listing or an ad. Parody is fine when it is obviously parody.
- Sharing intimate images of anyone without their consent, including images created or altered to look like them.
- Non-consensual recording or publication of a private conversation.
Blocking is enforced in the database, not on your screen: a blocked pair cannot post into an existing direct thread, blocked authors drop out of your feed, and a blocked person's map pin disappears. Using a second account to get around a block is a breach of this policy in itself.
3. Children
Sexual content involving minors is removed without discussion, the account is terminated, and the matter is reported to the appropriate authorities. There is no appeal path that treats this as a borderline case, because it is not one.
Do not sexualise minors in any form, real or generated. Do not solicit contact with a minor for sexual purposes. Do not use Sebairo to arrange, advertise or facilitate the exploitation of a child.
The minimum age for an account is 13. If you believe an account belongs to a child who should not be here, report it and say so in the details box — that detail changes how the report is handled.
4. Illegal and dangerous content
- Content that is illegal where it is posted or where it is received.
- Promoting, planning, funding or glorifying terrorism or violent extremism.
- Instructions for making weapons, explosives or other means of mass harm.
- Encouraging self-harm, suicide or disordered eating. Content that seeks support, or discusses recovery, is not this and is not treated as this.
- Trafficking in people, organs, wildlife or protected cultural property.
- Content that facilitates serious crime, including money laundering and sanctions evasion.
If you are in danger right now, a platform report is slower than the emergency services in your country. Contact them first, then report here so the account can be dealt with.
5. Deception and fraud
Sebairo carries money between strangers, which makes fraud the abuse category with the most direct cost to real people. It is enforced accordingly.
- Listing goods or services you do not have, cannot deliver, or do not have the right to sell.
- Advance-fee schemes: asking for a payment, a deposit, a “release fee” or a gift card to unlock something that does not exist.
- Phishing: pages, messages or profiles designed to collect passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or recovery details.
- Pretending to be Sebairo support, Sebairo staff, or an official process.
- Fake reviews, fake engagement, fake follower counts, and paying for any of them.
- Investment, trading and “guaranteed return” pitches, and anything presenting SBX as an investment or offering to buy SBX off-platform.
- Charity fraud: collecting for a cause you do not represent.
- Chargeback abuse, and using the Marketplace to launder funds.
Sebairo will never contact you to ask for your password, a one-time code or a card number, and there is no screen in the app that asks you to type a card number — card entry only ever happens on Stripe's own checkout page. Anyone doing otherwise is not Sebairo.
6. Spam, scraping and automation
- Bulk unsolicited messages, mass-adding strangers to groups, and repetitive posting designed to dominate a feed.
- Creating accounts in bulk, whether by hand or by script.
- Scraping profiles, listings, posts or contact details, by any means.
- Automating the interface in ways that circumvent rate limits, metering or billing.
- Reselling access to your account, or sharing one account between many people to avoid per-seat pricing.
- Using scripts, bots or any other automation to do any of the above. Automation does not change what is permitted — it only changes how fast a breach happens.
Anything done from your account is attributed to you, whatever performed it. If a script you set up sends spam, you sent spam.
7. Other people's work and other people's data
Do not post content you have no right to post: copyrighted material, trademarks used to mislead, trade secrets, or someone else's personal data.
If your copyright has been infringed on Sebairo, the copyright and counter-notice process is the route — it exists so a rights holder does not have to argue in a support thread, and so the person accused gets a real chance to answer.
If you load other people's personal data into a workspace — customer records, employee details, applicant CVs — you must have the right to hold it, and the data-protection duties that come with it are yours.
8. What may not be sold
The Marketplace is not a venue for everything that is legal to own. The following may not be listed, advertised or arranged through Sebairo:
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their components.
- Drugs, controlled substances, and products marketed as their substitutes.
- Prescription medicines and medical devices requiring a prescription.
- Tobacco, vaping products and alcohol, where a licensed and age-verified route is required and Sebairo does not provide one.
- Live animals and protected wildlife or their parts.
- Counterfeit goods, replicas presented as genuine, and stolen property.
- Human remains, body parts and bodily fluids.
- Government identity documents, and services offering to forge them.
- Account credentials, hacking services, malware and stolen data.
- Sexual services, and any adult content or service.
- Financial instruments, securities, cryptocurrency and lending or investment products.
- Anything requiring a licence or regulatory permission that Sebairo does not verify.
This list is not exhaustive, and a listing being absent from it is not permission. If you have to argue that a listing is technically allowed, assume it is not.
9. The platform itself
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data or workspaces that are not yours.
- Do not probe, scan or stress the service in a way that degrades it for other people.
- Do not reverse-engineer the app, or run a modified client to obtain behaviour the real one does not offer.
- Do not circumvent metering, billing, spend caps, approval flows or moderation.
- Do not distribute malware, or link to it.
Security research is welcome and is not a breach when it is done properly: test against your own account, do not access, modify or delete anyone else's data, and give a reasonable window to fix an issue before publishing it. Send findings to support@sebairo.com with SECURITY in the subject line. Sebairo has no paid bounty programme; reports are still very welcome, they are just not paid.
10. What happens when this policy is broken
There is no fixed tariff. What happens depends on what was done, whether it was deliberate, whether it caused harm, and whether it has happened before.
- Content is removed, or a listing is taken down, and you are told which rule it broke.
- A feature is restricted — posting, messaging, listing, live video or ads — for a period.
- The account is suspended.
- The account is terminated, and where money is involved, pending withdrawals are held while the matter is reviewed.
Serious cases skip straight to the end of that ladder. Sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence and active fraud are acted on immediately, without a warning step.
Every enforcement action is written to an audit log with a reason. If you believe an action was wrong, appeal to support@sebairo.com with [Appeal] in the subject. Say what was actioned and when, and why you think it was a mistake.
