Buying on the Marketplace
This article explains how to buy on the Marketplace. You browse listings, message the seller or send an offer, and settle the price, the handover and the payment with the seller. Payment is made outside Sebairo.
- Open the Marketplace and browse or search the listings.
- Open a listing to see its photos, price and details, the storefront behind it and its reviews.
- Tap Message to ask a question, or Send offer to name the price you would pay. The offer arrives in the seller's chat as a message, and the seller replies there.
- Agree the price, how the item will reach you and how you will pay, then complete the sale with the seller.
Payment and protection
Money for a sale does not pass through Sebairo, so Sebairo cannot track an order, hold a balance for you or issue a refund. Your protection is whatever your payment method provides, so choose it with care. See Paying for something you found on the Marketplace.
If something goes wrong
Message the seller first. Many problems are a delay or a misunderstanding. If that does not work, use your payment method's dispute process to try to recover your money. Report the listing, the seller or the conversation in the app so moderation can act, and report fraud to the police.
Sebairo does not hold money for sales and never asks for a fee to release an item. Anyone who says otherwise is a scammer. Report them.
