Selling & your storefront

Complete a sale

Updated: 2026-09-29

Marketplace sales are arranged in chat. A buyer messages you about a listing or sends you an offer, and the two of you agree the sale there.

  1. Answer the buyer's questions in the chat. An offer arrives as a message, and your reply is your answer.
  2. Agree the price, how and where the item changes hands, and how you will be paid.
  3. Take payment as agreed, then hand over the item.
  4. Use Set stock to bring the listing to zero, or pause or delete it, so nobody else messages you about it.

Payment

Payment for a sale is made directly between you and the buyer. It does not pass through Sebairo, so there is no balance to wait for and no payout to request. Sebairo takes no commission and charges no listing fee.

Good practice

Describe the item accurately, honour what you agreed, and tell the buyer promptly if something changes. Taking payment without delivering is fraud and can lead to account removal.

Sebairo never holds a buyer's payment or asks a seller for a fee to release one. A message saying otherwise is a scam.

Getting paid as a seller
Selling & your storefront · The buyer pays you directly, by any method the two of you agree, such as cash on collection, a bank transfer or a payment app. Sebairo does not collect payment for a sale, and takes no commission and no listing fee.
Track stock on your listings
Selling & your storefront · Stock tracking is optional for each listing. Enter the units you have and buyers see whether the item is still available. Leave it empty and the listing shows no stock figure, which suits services and things you can always make more of.
What to do when a buyer says something went wrong
Selling & your storefront · This article explains what to do when a buyer tells you something went wrong with a sale. Marketplace sales and payments are settled between buyer and seller, so the buyer contacts you in chat and the two of you resolve it.
How to spot a scam
Signing in & account security · Sebairo never asks for your password, a one-time code or a card number, whether in a chat, an email or a phone call. Anyone who asks for them is pretending to be Sebairo, however convincing they look.
