Ways to sign in
You sign in to Sebairo with your phone number or your email address, typed into the same field.
- Phone number or email, and password: the usual day-to-day method.
- Phone number and SMS code: tap "Sign in with an SMS code" under the Sign in button, then enter the code sent to you.
- Forgot your password? Tap "Forgot password?" under the Sign in button.
Signing in does not create an account. If the number or email you enter has no account yet, the app tells you and offers to create one.
The language button at the top of the sign-in screen changes the app's language before you sign in.
Your saved accounts
When you sign out, the app asks whether to save the account on this phone. With "Save & sign out", the account appears under "Your accounts" on the sign-in screen with "Tap to sign in": one tap signs you straight back in, with no password. Your password itself is never stored; the app keeps a sign-in key in the phone's protected storage.
- Anyone holding your unlocked phone can use that tap. Choose "Don't save" on a shared or borrowed phone.
- Press and hold a saved account to remove it from this phone; its saved sign-in ends at the same time.
- Changing your password, or Settings → Accounts center → "Sign out of all devices", ends every saved sign-in of your account on every phone. The next tap then asks for your password.
Removing a saved account does not affect the account itself. You can also manage saved accounts in Settings → Accounts center.
Keep your contact details current
Sign-in codes and password reset links are sent to your phone number and email. If you change your number, update it in Settings → Accounts center while you can still use both.
Use a password you do not use anywhere else. Reused passwords leaked from other sites are the most common way accounts are taken over.
