Leaving, archiving or deleting a workspace
Anyone except the owner can leave a workspace from its settings. Owners can transfer ownership, admins can archive and restore the workspace, and only the owner can delete it.
Leaving
Leaving takes effect immediately: you lose access to the workspace's projects, files, notes and conversations. What you created stays with the team, and you can rejoin later if an admin invites you again.
Transferring ownership
The owner can hand the workspace to another member. The new owner gets full control, and the previous owner stays in the workspace as an admin. Transfer ownership if you want to step back from a workspace that should continue without you.
Archiving
Admins can archive a workspace to put it on hold. Nothing is lost, and an archived workspace can be restored later.
Deleting
Deleting is owner-only and permanent. It removes the workspace and everything in it — projects, tasks, files, notes, calendar and settings. There is no undo, so save anything you will need first.
Deleting a workspace does not close a Marketplace storefront. A storefront is separate — winding down a business that has both takes two actions.
