How do I create a workspace?

Updated: 2026-08-27

Create a workspace from the Workspaces app. A five-step wizard walks you through the setup, and the workspace is ready to use as soon as you finish.

  1. Identity — the workspace's name, logo, tagline and accent colour.
  2. Organization — its type, size, country and contact details.
  3. Apps — which optional apps it starts with. The type you chose suggests a starting set (a shop starts with inventory and finance), and you can change the apps later from workspace settings.
  4. Team — invite your first people and choose a role for each. They join when they accept the invitation.
  5. Review — check everything, then create the workspace.

Every workspace starts with the core apps — projects, tasks, notes, files and a calendar — and a team group chat is created with it automatically. The chat's membership stays in sync with the team; guests are not in it.

Your company's public page starts as an unpublished draft. Publish it when you're ready for customers to find you in the Business Hub.

A workspace is not a Marketplace storefront. To sell products with a cart and card checkout, open a storefront — many businesses run both.

You are the workspace's owner. Only the owner can delete it, and you can transfer ownership to another member later.

What is a workspace?
Workspaces & teams · A workspace is a shared home for a team or company inside Sebairo. It holds projects with tasks, shared notes, a file library and a calendar — all in one place, and visible only to its members.
How do I invite someone to my workspace?
Workspaces & teams · Team members join a workspace by invitation: you send an invite, and the person becomes a member only when they accept. They can also decline.
Roles, permissions and apps in a workspace
Workspaces & teams · A workspace has four roles — owner, admin, member and guest. Owners and admins can do everything; what members and guests can do is set per app: view, create, edit, delete and approve are decided separately for each module.
Your company's public page
Business Hub · Your company has one public page in the Business Hub. It shows your cover and logo, name and tagline, an about section, an address, contact actions, your catalogue of products and services, and your open jobs. It starts as an unpublished draft and becomes public when you publish it.
Open a storefront on the Marketplace
Selling & your storefront · Anyone with a Sebairo account can open a storefront. Create it, give it a name, and you can start listing — there is no application or approval step.
