How ad billing works
This article explains how ads are paid for. Ads are prepaid from the credits in your wallet: you add budget to a campaign, which moves credits from your balance onto it, and the campaign spends them as your ad is shown or clicked.
- Set the campaign's budget, the most it can spend.
- Tap Add budget and choose how much to put on the campaign now, up to that budget. The campaign runs once it holds money.
- As the ad is delivered, the cost comes off the campaign: per 1,000 views (CPM) or per click (CPC), depending on what you chose. Minimum rates apply.
When the money runs out
A campaign that has spent what you put on it stops and shows Needs budget. Add more budget to continue. Its results and settings are kept. A campaign that has spent its whole budget shows Completed.
Getting unspent budget back
Tap Refund unspent at any time to return whatever the campaign has not spent to your wallet. The campaign keeps what it already spent and stops delivering until you add budget again.
Pausing stops delivery immediately, and you pay only for views or clicks that were delivered. Every move of credits onto a campaign and back appears in your wallet history.
Ads Manager is included in the Pro and Business plans.
