Moderate your live stream

As the host you can mute or remove a viewer during your stream, and moderators can do the same while you concentrate on broadcasting.

• Mute stops the person commenting and lets them keep watching.
• Remove takes the person out of the stream.

A stream has five roles: host, co-host, guest, moderator and viewer. Give someone the moderator role when you want help. On a busy stream, one person watching the comments makes a difference.

To have no comments at all, turn them off when you set up the stream. You can also set a maximum number of viewers.

Removing someone protects your stream only. If what they did breaks the rules, report it as well, using the stream's report option.

Broadcasts that break the community rules can be ended, and the account may be suspended.
