What your application status means

A job application starts as submitted, moves to reviewing or shortlisted while the employer considers it, and ends as hired or rejected. You get a notification each time the status changes, so you do not have to keep checking.

• Submitted — your application has arrived and has not been decided yet.
• Reviewing — the employer is looking at it.
• Shortlisted — you are on their short list.
• Hired — the employer chose you. An employment contract is generated and sent to you in a private chat with the company for you to sign.
• Rejected — the application is closed.

Withdrawing an application

You can withdraw an application yourself at any time before you are hired, and withdrawing removes it. The employer is not notified of a withdrawal, so if you are far along with a company, tell them as well.

You can apply once per job. If you want to change what you wrote, message the company instead of trying to apply again.
