Who can see a memory

Each memory has one visibility setting, which you can change at any time. New memories start as Private. The options are:

• Private: only you.
• Contacts: the people in your contacts.
• Family: the contacts you marked as family.
• A specific group: only the people you chose for this memory.
• People at that place: people who are at the memory's location.
• Public: anyone on Sebairo.
• Scheduled: private until a date you set, then public. Use it for a birthday or an anniversary and the memory opens on that day.

Memories and the map

A memory with a location appears on your Memories map. The location puts the memory on the map, and the memory's visibility decides who can see it there.

A public memory shows its place to everyone. Keep home addresses and children's schools out of public memories that carry a location.
